Campaign
Definition
The top-level organizational container in Reddit Ads Manager. A campaign defines the marketing objective, holds the total or daily budget, and houses one or more Ad Groups beneath it. All activity within the campaign is unified under a single goal.
Context
Reddit organizes campaign objectives into three stages: Awareness, Consideration, and Conversion. The September 2025 algorithm overhaul changed how campaigns optimize — shifting priority from raw engagement volume (upvotes, comments) to engagement quality, meaning substantive discussion now carries more delivery weight than surface-level reactions.
Relevance to Reddit
Campaigns should map one-to-one with a single business goal. Mixing objectives within one campaign prevents the algorithm from optimizing delivery effectively. Name campaigns clearly — by objective, audience, and date — so reporting remains clean as programs scale.
