The degree to which a Reddit community accepts and values a participant's contributions — built through consistent, value-first engagement over time and evidenced by positive reception of posts and comments, absence of removal and downvoting, and unprompted positive mention by other community members.
Context
Community trust is asymmetric: a single misstep — an overly promotional post, an evasive response to a challenging question, or a revealed attempt at astroturfing — can erase months of goodwill.
